Caramel Sauce

I don’t know about yours but my brownies are better. My coffee is out of this world. My ice cream is happier. My Dutch apple Pie (next post 😘) is unmatched and my pantry just looks prettier with a jar of this delicious, golden, buttery yum, on/in it. 

So easy to put together, and a lot cheaper to make it yourself! 

Here’s what you need 

2 C Brown sugar (packed)

1 C half-n-half

1 stick butter (chopped)

1 tsp sea salt

2 Tbl vanilla extract 

Here’s what you do 

Combine everything in a medium sauce pan on stove on medium heat (6 you want this to boil).

Stirring constantly, once it heats up. Melting all the sugar before it comes to a boil

Set timer for 1 minute once it comes to an uncontrolled boil (you can’t stop it by stirring it). 

Remove from heat and stir softly for 2 minutes. Let cool completely then pour into pint jar. (there will be about a 1/4 C extra, just drink it! Or dip some fruit in it, or put it in your coffee, or… Oh just drink it!😜)
